Leave The Elephants Alone

When Chris Crockers goes all out and defends Britney Spears, the Internet gives him the spotlight, he hits Digg several times, and becomes an instant Internet celebrity. But when someone defends elephants and asks us to leave them alone, they languish in obscurity!

Not anymore, I will be the advocate of “leaving elephants alone!”

It’s amazing how some politicians are utilizing the Internet and social media to get their message out. Dennis Kucinich and Barrak Obama are two beaming examples. I have a feeling that these grassroots movements will define this years elections, and Barack has an edge.

Kucinich has launched a campaign to sign a “Bush Impeachment” petition. While the campaings website failed to hit the first page, his 4th of July video message didn’t:

Original description of the story

Beginning today, Americans who cherish our Democracy and the Constitutional principles upon which it was founded can stand up, speak out, and take action by signing the one official petition that carries the full and unqualified support of the one and only original sponsor of the impeachment resolution: Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich.

Everybody has skeletons in their closets, including Van Damme!

Long before he was a star of cheesy and plot-less movies for the less intellectually endowed, Jean had to pay his dues and played a background dancer in the movie Breakin’. Watch JCVD in tights getting his freak on!

This video really has the potential of developing into a meme, the voice over song is really addictive!

This one is a bit old and was submitted almost a month ago, but I really wanted to hit FP because I found it hilarious. Honest_Ape has been having a great series of comics on the Mixxingbowl site (The site for Mixx by Mixxers), and they are absolutely off the hook!

Ever wondered what would Twitter would have looked back in the 1600’s? I never did! But Honest_Ape did, and here is his how he imagined it would be.
