I know this isn’t the first game ported to flash, nor is it complete, but Mario Kart (especially the Super Nintendo version) has a special place in my heart. I actually got notified of this site today via plurk, else I probably would have never seen it. The original post got 165 diggs, was never buried out of the queue, but it never hit the front page.
If you do like it, make sure you check out the authors other javascript demo’s as well.
Original Description:
This is a prototype of a Javascript Mario Kart-like racing game.
It uses the canvas element to do most of the rendering and should work in both FF2, FF3, Opera 9.27 and Safari 3.1.1.
